In the Deep

I am posting this a week beforehand with snow swirling outside the window.  Sure can't wait for swimming season.

It looks really good in B&W - like liquid silver!
Mary MacADNski: I don't have a favorite this week.

The colour version wins for me, Mary. Is it still snowing?
Mary MacADNski: We are expecting a storm tomorrow night through to wednesday. We usually have a St Paddy's day storm on the east coast so not unusual.

Another world isn't it
Mary MacADNski: So relaxing, nothing like it. My daughter with the hat and the girl beside her were out there for hours.

You seem ready for Summer, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: When I see daffodils across the pond in England I start longing for spring here. I do love spring and summer.
I have a feeling a LOT of people are ready for a good swim right about now, Mary! What's interesting is how much colder the B&W feels. HA!
Mary MacADNski: I suppose the b/w is colder looking.

Swimming season will be there soon... I love the way you present these two pictures. Totally different feeling to them.
Mary MacADNski: A lot of people go south for a couple of weeks in between times which I have done in the past.
Looks warmer in colour

I'll pass on Adele
Mary MacADNski: It does look warmer in colour. Don't like Adele, Bill?

Oh, you have still winter, I understand you longing for the swimming season. I like in particular the ripples on the water caused by the funny bunch of swimmers!
Mary MacADNski: The swimmers are just bobbing/floating along, a perfect way to have your body and soul relax.

That b&w picks up the available textures in a great way.
Mary MacADNski: Darn, you can see better now.
I've never been able to do this being almost a non swimmer. Like Bill I will pass on Adele, I am still not aware of what all the fuss is about.
Mary MacADNski: They may be wearing float jackets between their legs though I don't think so here. If you wear one, you float perfectly in in sitting position in the water.

I think I like the B&W one best. Hope you are keeping warm and that soon your swimming season will start.
Mary MacADNski: Fuel keeps me warm and spring will come eventually according to plan.

Patience. Mary' it will soon be here again. Today we had a cloudless blue sky and temperates of round 17 or 18 deg C.; our first no jacket day this year.
i love both of them Mary...
the b&w is crisp
the colour of the waves in the second shot make it special...
what i like most is thinking about swimming...
it was -37*C here this morning....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: It has been terribly cold here but this storm is going to warm up temperatures. Back to cold after that though.
