In the Pink

Who or what can heal you? Besides music, raw oysters seem to heal me. They are my basic medicine.

What do you do with the Oysters, Mary...wear them around your neck as pendants...rub them on a wound...shuck, dip in spicy sauce, plop them in your mouth... smile
Mary MacADNski: I like them plain but serve them to others with the usual accoutrements.
Très jolie tulipe.
Mary MacADNski: Aren't they beautiful!
Beautiful photo's, Mary! I love the detailed photos of flowers!
Well, of course, the Lord heals me... Frank can always make me feel better... and chocolate chip cookies will always make me happy! smile
Mary MacADNski: Healing is in the 'to each her own' category, I think.

Beer used to heal me. coffee & water do now
Mary MacADNski: Coffee heals me every morning and beer can do the job later sometimes.
I have never eaten an oyster in my life Mary, perhaps I should start.
Mary MacADNski: I would suggest they be fresh, perhaps on a boat or wharf where they are grown, not in a restaurant certainly, where freshness can be a huge factor.
Nice tulip, Oysters no thanks, I have seen the effects on others retching down the loo in the small hours. I much prefer a fried egg sandwich.
Mary MacADNski: Oh my. Someone eating tainted shellfish is not nice but a freshly grown and harvested oyster is medicine in this tribe. Eggs are very good too as they are the most versatile of foods.
You've really got a busy posting today Mary. The Tulip is beautiful, the Oyster not so, I couldn't put one of them in my mouth if you paid me I don't think!
Mary MacADNski: I noticed how busy too. I added the oyster last but probably should have stopped before doing so.
I am glad you find comfort in music. I do too, though oysters are not my thing...
Mary MacADNski: Music is definitely a mood changer and healing can be a mood. Lots of people do not like seafood.
Whisky, honey, lemon juice mixed with hot water. Cures everything and if it doesn't if you put enough whisky in it you don't really care
Mary MacADNski: I have a similar one - Rum, cherry brandy and hot water. My daughter says it tastes just like a cherry cough drop.
Lovely flower pic's this week, Mary...I think you can guess, Not counting Elizabeth of course! Music, coffee this past few years, due to the lack of a decent brew in the states! Dark chocolate Kit Kats, also missing here! More music smile I think that's one of Van's best line ups, Georgie Fame, Brian Kennedy, and the rest.
