I love these, Mary! I've taken many that are similar - they just fascinate me - wonderful shots!
Mary MacADNski: Ice patterns can vary so much. I delight in them too.

An event you have been waiting for, Mary
Mary MacADNski: This was the car window after a storm in the winter. It has been in the holding bin since.
As surely as day follows night, it will happen, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: This was ice on the car window following a rain to ice event.

Gets everywhere doesn't it..
Mary MacADNski: On car windows certainly.
A lessen in latent heat Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It had snowed all night then the snow turned to freezing rain, then to rain. A lesson in latent heat to be sure.

Keep some in your coolbox for the summer, e.g. for the poker run.
Mary MacADNski: We have ice tanks on the boat and they are filled with ice from the wharf for tanks on boats. You have to keep your catch iced.
I'm presuming this is on your window Mary.
Mary MacADNski: On my car window after a snow, freezing rain, then rain event; you got it.

If I were 'ice' I would make that I get the h**l out of there or I melt...
What a great pictures these are. Ice is so fun to look at.
Mary MacADNski: I had to scrape it all off. I had done the front of the car already so took a shot of the side.
a very psychedelic image to my eyes, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, you probably don't have to deal with icy car windows very often. smile
Melting at last then?
Mary MacADNski: This was following a storm in winter. I was about to scrape it off. It is all melted, only small bits of snow left.

haha.. B&W or colour makes no difference. I expect that the issue and snow has gone now?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, the snow is gone.
Still got ice, eh? Spring is slow!
Mary MacADNski: Nope. Not for a while.
