Bee Saviors

It has to be done every couple of years.

A few years ago I showed you a photo of a duck nesting in lavender. She nests in a seasonal garden center in a parking lot and here she is again, in her eighth year, this time in the Asiatic lilies. Ducks Unlimited have provided a live webcam, balm for my injured heart after losing Mrs Mallard and her eggs.

Two too gorgeous images to look at...
I do like it in B&W, Mary! Lovely! I'm pleased the parking lot ducks are doing well!

Both are delightful. For once, I favour your b&w version as the tips of the petals seem more evident.
I love how the little curlycues show up in the B&W version, Mary. smile

Fabulous pictures and the B&W turned out so beautiful. That Webcam is something else... she was sleeping though...
Definitely better in b&w. I think it is clearer to make out the details.
Two very fine images Mary, especially the top one. We now have a Tree Bumblebee's nest in our garden, we will leave it unless things get difficult before getting someone in to move it.
I like the simplicity of the b&w Mary
i like the white image better Mary...
our Mallards visited our feeder yesterday... we have to work on Rylee again this week to keep him from approaching them... but he loves to see them fly....petersmile

i am also a member of Ducks Unlimitedsmile
Brilliant white...
