Over the Boardwalk

The new over-water, floating , but anchored, boardwalk system is made of plastic modules that all fit together. It will last longer than the old wooden version. It is rated for our winter too.

There is a lot of "play" with plastic stuff like this in Thailand, Mary, but the heat seems to destroy it within a couple of years!
Mary MacADNski: I did not realize what the product it was and had to see for myself but was familiar with it used on private dock systems.
A wonderful thing they've built for you! Lovely shot!
Very good Bette!
Mary MacADNski: It should be better than the boardwalk was. Less movement too, very solid. Bette is always a treat.

The sweep of that walkway really makes for a great photograph. Bett Middler was a really good entertainer.
Mary MacADNski: She still is performing you will be glad to know, sometimes with her daughter.

I see only wood (?) - a wonderful, curved boardwalk to go over the lake (?).
Mary MacADNski: Wooden boards were replaced with a rigid, plastic docking system
What a great thing to have the opportunity to walk over, and in such a fine setting.

They make our boardwalks out of recycled plastic bags, Mary
Mary MacADNski: We had a place that did - used hay bale wrappers too, but it burned.

Ah now I like the sound of this. I can imagine that its moves slightly too as you walk on it? Hopefully it will last a good number of years. I can remember seeing the Drifters sing the original version of "Under the Boardwalk:".
Mary MacADNski: It was much stiffer than the previous boards. It is very rigid and hardly moves.
That's an impressive bit of walkway engineering!
Mary MacADNski: It is used in many private docks.
