Black and White Monday

Beach days are important to take advantage of. Autumn is approaching and encroaching. Last week was in the high 20's with humidity factors making it seem hotter.

For me, autumn starts at the autumnal equinox so just a week to go. I've been on the beach at least twice a day for the past 9 days; loving it. I like your triangular rocks.
Mary MacADNski: The beach is beautiful here still. I have company over the weekend and hoping they will want to go to the beach.
Very nice, both of them, Mary, though I think the colour version has the edge.
Mary MacADNski: This is a split one, I'd say.
Beautiful photo,s Mary - I agree with Frank - though just a slight edge! smile
Mary MacADNski: Feelings were split on this one.

Really go for the colour version, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Nice to see both, eh.

Thank you for also putting in the coloured picture.... strange that the sides are grey-ish... Wonderful B&W too.
Mary MacADNski: I like the comparison of the straight conversion. I try lots but not all work well.

Mary MacADNski: Rocks, the start of it all.

That triangular pebble is a good find.
Mary MacADNski: There are many finds on my special beach.

Joli cœur, je le préfère en couleurs.
Mary MacADNski: I think the colour is winning.
Works well as both and I don't have a favourite
Mary MacADNski: Some are like that, with no preference warranted.

The b&w is a likey.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. I prefer the black and white myself though most prefer colour.
I also like both images but the colour one justs beats the B.& W.for me.
Mary MacADNski: As expected by now. It seems to be the winner.

I would have liked to take this heart stone with me, for I am collecting pebbles and stones.
Mary MacADNski: This beach has truly magical stones.

Yes, I have already the feeling that autumn has just arrived.
Mary MacADNski: It is still very summery here, still in the twenties every day. I posted this a week ago and it is still the same.
This is the kind of stone, if small enough, I'd want to caress in my hand, Mary. smile
Mary MacADNski: It is about the size of your full palm.

It is really beginning to feel autumnal here too Mary.

I like the geological art.

I love the textures and I think the small triangle resembles a heart (made of stone, da da da.)
Mary MacADNski: I have a collection of hear stones but did not bring this one home.
I don't think we've seen the high twenties at all this year!
Mary MacADNski: It is still very summery here, still in the twenties every day. I posted this a week ago and it is still the same. It has been a most wonderful summer for the beach but so little rain has been hard on farming and gardens.
