Jolis oiseaux, j'aime bien le premier qui est tout rond.

Wonderful capture of the little piper.
Mary MacADNski: They're sweet but fast.
Such a lovely little bird! And lovely shots!
Mary MacADNski: They are challenging to get near.
Sandpipers are such lovely birds, Mary, aren't they!
Mary MacADNski: They are impossible to sneak up on.

Looking for whatever it is it eats on the shoreline
Mary MacADNski: We were talking about just that. We can't see anything but sand.

What a super little bird, Mary I love to see Sandpipers, but have never managed to get pictures like yours!
Mary MacADNski: They never stop moving so are difficult.
The top picture is particularly good Mary
Mary MacADNski: The beach was full of them; another beach, none.

It looks well disguised on the shore.
Mary MacADNski: I knew that red sandstone would come in handy.

Great shots - one often miss seeing them, when they are among the plant covered stones.
Mary MacADNski: It was great how camouflaged they were. There were lots of them on this beach.
Two very good images Mary and I like they are both taken in slightly different surroundings.
Mary MacADNski: That was the idea - two different photos altogether.

Lovely pictures - the top one displays how well camouflaged the bird is.
Mary MacADNski: It works well with our red rocks, that's for sure.

Great looking birds and hardly to see in the top picture..
Love these pictures, I can smell the salt of the see.
Mary MacADNski: It was a nice area for these sandpipers. There are not always there in these numbers.
Nice shots, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tom.
