Form and Function

I did this in a grey monotone as well but preferred the darker tones. It is hard to ignore that pink though.

Both excellent...don't ask me to choose!
Mary MacADNski: Be prepared to be laid back and not have to choose anything here.

I rather like your showing the two formats side by side, even though they are not side by side.
Mary MacADNski: I could do them side by side by at a mush lowered psi or some other pressure measurment.
I like the darker tones, too, Mary...and also, both options!
Mary MacADNski: The monotone was quite boring but the black and white quite lively.

Strangely, this morning I have been looking at my few Painted Lady pics from this year. They must be one of our British most striking butterflies. Both pics here are lovely, but give me the colour version
Mary MacADNski: I wish you had been here. There are still some here after cooler temps and a frosty morn.
C'est une bonne idée d'avoir mis la couleur et le noir et blanc.

Two totally different pictures and both with such a beauty. Hard to choose so that is why I go for both of them.
Colour works best for me in this case Mary.

I always liked that song

No, I prefer the monotone one - very beautiful!
I prefer the colour version although I do like the B.& W.one. A colour pop with just the butterfly in colour would be an enjoyable thing to try.

The mono is tops, because of those darker tones.

I would never have thought of the b/w option! Very nice!
