Molly

My brother and sister-in-law visited this summer with three dogs. This one has only three legs so is always the last one in line.

This is one of the beaches I checked for cliff swallows in a long running program. The species is no linger on the list as they have made a comeback.

What a wonderful coastline!
it is always remarkable how dogs missing one or even two limbs make up for it by their attitude, Mary.

But it still gets around and I'm sure enjoys being out.

Have you seen the Youtube video of the cat which has lost both front legs? It copes very well and can still jump up on to surfaces.

On one of my daily 5km routes, there are two three legged border collies at two different houses. I wonder what they do to loose a leg?
Mary MacADNski: This dog was hit by a car.
I have a friend who had a three legged cat. Needles to say it was called tripod

I thought at first that there was a ghostly figure hovering on the cliff top.
The dog does well with only three legs to get in such places. This shot also shows how fragile the coastline is round your way.

I love the red cliffs - oh, poor dog, but he seems to cope well with this situation.

Good to hear the success story about the Cliff Swallows, Mary
Actually, it looks like a cat in the picture! Good news about the cliff swallows. They must be the equivalent of our sand martins.
I once saw a three-legged cat--amazing how well it moved.
Oh hang in there little Molly!
Lovely image!
