New Feature Trial

One of the most interesting aspects of Wasaga Beach, Ontario is the constant changing of water colour, from hour to hour from day to day, always changing.

My aunt and uncle live on the end of the beach nearer the #10 road and the main comercial beach is at the pin on the map.  My other aunt lives in Barrie from where I have shown boats, beaches, gulls and along a boardwalk and will continue to do so.

I added a second map to show how far north Peter is from there. I chose to keep Toronto and Ottawa on the map to show the size of that huge province.

I love the graduations of blue
Mary MacADNski: It turns to aqua quite readily but sometimes it is blue only.
This reminds me of Crystal Lake in the northern part of Michigan, Mary, not far from Traverse City. I have so many memories of a place like this/that!

( I had to laugh about Ray's comment because I didn't see the maps either!) smile
Mary MacADNski: The maps did not stay. I have had it happen before.

I love the layers of blue in the water. what a wonderful view.
(However I got lost because I don't see any maps)
Mary MacADNski: The map did not stay. Next time I will use a screen shot.

I always enjoy time at the beach away from the main holiday season. I like the breaking waves here.

I won't mention the invisible maps smile
Mary MacADNski: It was October here with no beach police so resident dogs were on the beach - not allowed at all in summer.
I see no ships...or maps
Mary MacADNski: I think you must get your eyes checked immediately.

The grass looks unusually neat and trim for a beachside.
Mary MacADNski: It is expensive for them to keep it this way. Men come with big sand sweeper/vacuum cleaners. Mind you they have a wall above the beach so I am shooting over clear lawn. Also, since we had a late beach party, all other houses had protective upper walls already in place. My aunt and uncle delayed theirs for the party.
It is lovely to just watch the waves breaking.
Mary MacADNski: The bedrooms face the beach. Open windows, wave sounds...
I like the varying layers of colour from top to bottom. Sadly your map hasn't come up, perhaps you could try and post it again another day, it would be interetsing to see.
Mary MacADNski: I think I will try a screen shot. Google maps has always been difficult to copy and remain.
Lovely waves and color bands, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I loved how it was so different each day.

I am not one of the chosen few, allowed to see the maps smile I do like the water picture - nice lines and layers of colour.
Mary MacADNski: I will have to get a screen shot next time google maps is notoriously hard to capture.
The colours are great, Mary, I'll not mention the maps, beyond here be Dragons!
Mary MacADNski: Beyond there be google. I will take a screen shot.
