The Worm Forgives the Plow

Plowing is still happening every day so this is a common sight.  By the time this post is seen though, there will probably be snow on the ground as it is expected in just a couple of days.

Les mouettes ont l'air de se régaler.
Mary MacADNski: They sure do!
Beautiful, Mary! The B&W and the color versions are very different, and equally wonderful
Mary MacADNski: You see such different things in each version.

It is a fabulous pic, Mary...I prefer to coloured version, as the red/brown earth is gorgeous.
Mary MacADNski: Richly coloured when freshly plowed like this.

These gulls love it
Mary MacADNski: Thanksgiving dinner for them in a way.
Happy Happy birds! And I have a feeling MANY of us are getting snow these days. YAY?
Mary MacADNski: My grandkids in two provinces had snow last week and they were so, so happy!. We had some last Sunday night but it rained on Tuesday.

The gulls even follow the plough over her, 600km from the sea. But not so many.
Mary MacADNski: Gulls are everywwhere!
Great song. Don't think there will be much plowing around here today. Frozen snow everywhere
Mary MacADNski: Plowing is finished here too.

I like the contrasts here, both in black and white, and colour. Have you had your snow?
Mary MacADNski: We had snow one week ago tonight - it rained a day after so it disappeared.

I like these bands of dark and light. The white birds just set it off perfectly. Charming song.
Mary MacADNski: Stan Rogers was a national treasure who died in a plane crash in his thirties. I have made Bill a fan.
I like both versions of this picture.
Mary MacADNski: I am pleased you do. Quite different too.

Both images work for me - I can't decide which I prefer.
Mary MacADNski: Seems to be common this week.
Nice shot, Mary!
A sight I have never seen until now...
Mary MacADNski: You must come east, Man. See some far4mland to find out where your spuds come from.
absolutely brilliant shot, Mary. i like the contrast in the b/w but it is only in the colour version that i can identify the soil.
Mary MacADNski: I appreciate you always having a look.
