photoblog image Sand and Stone

Sand and Stone

I was delighted to find this bit of perfection on the beach but when getting down to take the photo, I clumsily kicked sand onto the scene.

This is another time that a video is not allowed to be embedded.  I will have to ask Rose about this the next time I see her. Click this link for the YouTube version of this wonderful song that goes so well with this photo.  The link opens in a new window.

i have had that problem a couple of times - i found if i refreshed the page and tried again, it went through, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: The embed box is not live for certain songs and nothing you do will make that box able to click.
I like the kicked sand...

No matter...you gave it a refresh, Mary, and it is still perfect.
It's beautiful, none the less, Mary! You know - some ancient cultures will purposefully "imperfect" their art - so as not to be in competition with God. The reason for a red bead in a turquoise strand, for instance. So if the perfection was the art that nature placed there - your photo is your art, and a slight imperfection is perfect! smile
PS - loved the music!
Mary MacADNski: I must be perfect then. Love this way of looking at it.

I like the sand which you kicked Mary. The light on it has added to the picture.
A few bits of kicked sand are fine with me Mary.

When I embed a video I always have to do it twice and then I get an error message which I ignore as it has actually worked.
Mary MacADNski: The embed box is not active for some songs. The usual embedding does take two edit and submits.
I really like this, and the bits nad pices of sand add to it as far as I'm concerned.
nature lined them up perfectly and then She gave you a low light to cast long shadows of the stoned on the sand....petersmile
The kicked sand certainly doesn't detract from the pic.
