Watery Wednesday

I noticed this lump from far away and thought it was a washed up seal.  With less distance and apon closer inspection, I found a piece of carpet on the glass-picking beach.

I can easily see how you might have thought "seal", Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It was certainly odd from afar.
i wonder from where did the journey of the carpet begin, Mary?
Mary MacADNski: I wonder that too.
smile You never know.. love the color of the beach!
These Glass Harpests always amaze me!
Mary MacADNski: The glass harpists work hard and hopefully don't develop a large thirst.

How strange, an accidental sculpture
Mary MacADNski: Certainly unexpected.
Who in their right mind dumped that there, Mary...or maybe at sea and it washed ashore? And now I have dark visions of a body wrapped up in it tossed off a ship eons ago. Oh my.

Anyway, to brighter thoughts, the lass harp duet is magical!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, to brighter thoughts. I love the music too.
Amazing what washes up!

Love the video
Mary MacADNski: I have seen odd things washed up but this one is strange.

I love improvised musical instruments Mary, but this one is real quality.
Mary MacADNski: As long as the musicians don't develop a great thirst.
I has the look, thankfully it was not.
Mary MacADNski: I know! They stink like crazy.
It seems to never end, nice shot
Mary MacADNski: Some of our beaches are very long but this one is quite small.
One does begin to wonder how things like this end up on beaches.
Mary MacADNski: Ginnie had a very strang idea of a body wrapped in it.
I smile with you...
Mary MacADNski: Thank you. Otherwise we would be holding our noses.
