It looks more like an Egret, Mary.

Voice like a well-cast bell!
Mary MacADNski: Some of her interpretations of songs just send me.
Beautiful photo, Mary!
Her vibrato is so effortless!

Jolie vue sur ces oiseaux.
Mary MacADNski: I await their return from winter vacation.
You can never go wrong with Joan Collins...or egrets!
Mary MacADNski: Herons, I'm afraid. We get only stray small white egrets, cattle egrets. This is an adult great blue heron.

This bird seems to have the posture of our Prime Minister.
Mary MacADNski: Have you ever heard one roar? OMG!
Yes indeed she has a lovely voice
Mary MacADNski: She was not known as a writer but she certainly interprets songs so beautifully.

Fabulous music with this wonderful picture. That heron has a some competition with the 'fishing'.....
Mary MacADNski: The heron is a great fisher. I posted a video a couple of weeks ago.
Looking for breakfast I guess. smile
Mary MacADNski: Yes, and taking advantage of the changing tide.

Rich pickings hopefully.

I like Judy Collins.
Mary MacADNski: Lots of rich pickings for herons around our coast. They winter away though. Judy Collins is one of the best.
I like the red sand...
Mary MacADNski: It's everywhere!
