photoblog image Summer Seen

Summer Seen

Something from the summer.

PEI has had a great winter so far.  Large storms that hit our two mainlands left us with only a whisper when passing by. I am not yearning for spring like I sometimes do but it is nice to see images from other seasons too.

I always enjoy your shots of these big bales, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I enjoy seeing them. Hay or grain has been successfully harvester depending on the season.

lots of work there

i've actually helped bale hay; in small and large bales

beautiful farmland
Mary MacADNski: That is funny because just yesterday I was telling someone of my only time to drive a tractor and it was to pull a hay wagon, collecting hay. Yes, we do have wonderful farmland.
A truly beautiful image, Mary - I love the light!
What a wonderful version of this song!!
Mary MacADNski: I love it all too. Thank you.

This could almost be England
Mary MacADNski: I would imagine we share small fields in our farmland. Our prairie provinces have farms of thousands of acres.

a wonderful composition and a feeling of summer time!
Mary MacADNski: It was jumping out at me in the archives. It had to be. It was a pleasant sunny day here but cold at -9.

It looks a green and pleasant land Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It is a wonderful place to live.
I would quite happily stroll this lovely scene Mary, you seem to be blessed with lovely countryside round where you live.
Mary MacADNski: Any time, Brian, as I often say.

A lovely image to brighten up a rather grey day.
Mary MacADNski: It was jumping out at me in the archives. It had to be.

I think you had more than enough snow last winter. We've had snow in the north of England of England but nothing down int he south; most disappointing. This is a lovely view across the field and the water.
Mary MacADNski: All that snow is gone now, Alan. Everyone enjoyed their winter sports the brief time we had the snow.
It is nice to think of warmer and lighter days
Mary MacADNski: I have not minded any of the winter yet other than getting ice rather than snow.
And this is a very pleasant one!
Mary MacADNski: I almost expect a fox to be in the scene.
Bucolica, beautiful image
Mary MacADNski: Prince Edward Island is a wonderful place.
