Red Paths

This shot sitting in the archives since July 2016 reminds me of the shot Ray Storey showed on the 17th of January. I have just came up a large hill that is in even worse shape than the one Ray is walking with his family.

Mary MacADNski: That's cool that it reminds you of something too.

I see the resemblance, Mary.

You have more wildflowers to point your camera at, but probably less elephant dung to navigate around...
Mary MacADNski: This is at the top of the cliff of my close by beach. It is a steep, terrible hill to climb.

same color as the ground in Arkansas
Mary MacADNski: It is found in many places. I just love that!
I see what you mean, Mary! Great comparison!
Mary MacADNski: I have shown the steep road to my beach. I had reached the top.
Joli chemin pour une balade.
Mary MacADNski: It is walking only on mine.

Lots of wild summer flowers on your lane
Mary MacADNski: Yes this is a lovely place for wildflowers - the top of the cliff at the local beach.

I love the billowing clouds.
Mary MacADNski: I did a series about the clouds that day a couple of years ago. It was an awesome cloud day.

Remarkably similar, Mary, and yet thousands of miles apart
Mary MacADNski: Yes, and others mentioning red soil places as well.

It looks an interesting wildflower walk for a summer's day.
Mary MacADNski: I did a series about the clouds that day a couple of years ago. It was an awesome cloud day. I had taken many wildflower shots that day as well.
The long and [un-]winding road...
Mary MacADNski: I have shown here, the steep road to my beach. This is after reaching the top of the steep, winding road.
Earth of a similar colour ..either could be Devon!
Mary MacADNski: I love that there is red soil in places on every continent.
I would enjoy a stroll down that path I'm sure.
Mary MacADNski: Mine is very steep. I carry tonnes of rocks up the road. It is only driveable to the point shown here.
Nice wild flowery spot!
Mary MacADNski: In the immediate neighbourhood and a wonderful place. You have seen many view here looking out to the water on the left - summer and winter.

I can see the similarity but I bet your climate would be more agreeable to me than that in Ray's country.
Yes quite similar
I thought it was an African landscape, I could hardly imagine it in Canada
