A Tisket A Tasket

I took a basket making course this winter.  There were two different classes making the same basket and the results of both classes were being shown off at this event.  Mine is on the right with tulips. Beneath are some cool ones.  We were asked to have them decorated with what we would be using them for.  You can tell which one was a retired teacher and the basket of a farmer.

It will be a useful skill after the apocalypse, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: They never seem to hold water.
All very good, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Will be useful when cutting flowers in the garden.

Your basket is a little work of art, Mary. And don't those eggs look good nestling in the farmer's basket
Mary MacADNski: Each basket was so different, even in size, as people wove with different tensions. You can see that easily in the back row of the first shot. We all used the same pattern.

A fine hobby to have Mary
Mary MacADNski: I have made three over the years, each during an instructional course. I would not get into it though having enough supplies in other things.

It looks like a skilled job you did Mary. I would fill mine with money.
Mary MacADNski: Very good idea. If I had a money tree I would do that too.
You clearly have a talent for making things Mary. Naturally I would fill mine with bacon grin
Mary MacADNski: I would set yours right along side the one with the eggs.
I thought of Ella immediately...
Mary MacADNski: You just have to. I loved that song as a kid.
They are all very nice Mary, my Maureen would probably love to do something like that , she is into crafting, as I sit here she is finishing off the bits and pieces she is getting her friends at their craft group to make into a little box with an Easter egg inside tomorrow.
Mary MacADNski: This was a program for seniors that rotates amongst clubs every winter. Other years, participants have learned many crafts.
Here my wife would go to the wedding.
Is it an Italian way of speaking, to indicate a congenial place, is it used by you too?
Mary MacADNski: it is a community center where anything can take place. We were using it for a course. Anyone can rent it for about anything, even a wedding reception. A skating rink is attached.

Ah, now they are lovely; you've done a fine job by the look of it. They would make ideal presents, too.
Mary MacADNski: I improved it a bit since then. One end was a bit rounded and the other flatter. They are now the same. Thanks.
