Les tulipes sont belles et le chat aussi.
Mary MacADNski: She loves flowers.
Purrl looks startled!
Mary MacADNski: The bright sun, I think.

I hope this isn't a false dawn. Here it has rained for days on end
Mary MacADNski: We had a half day of rain. We need more moisture to tell the truth.

Purrl's not convinced that spring has come despite you trying to trick her with the flowers.
Mary MacADNski: I think that was what was mesmerizing her - a perfectly warm day with our first snow on the ground.
Great idea, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: I do it every year.

Well two lovely things to cheer us, even if Spring is being coy
Mary MacADNski: Spring is happening here, a bit early. We can get snow any time in April.
tulipd for Easter Mary... spring has not sprung here yet....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Nope, the tulip factory down the road, as always at this time of year. They close after Mother's Day, the second Sunday in June.
In The Times today a Lady blamed a bunch of tulips for poisoning her cat and demanded that all wraps should bear a warning to that effect. I found it hard to believe a cat would want to eat tulips .
Mary MacADNski: Oh my! Rodents readily eat tulips and the Dutch survived on them for a time. Odd!
