Spring Past - The Ice

In remembrance of years past as our water had no ice to speak of this time this year.

My favorite song from this album, Famous Blue Raincoat, a cover of Leonard Cohen songs by Jennifer Warnes, is wonderful but this poorly recorded version does not do it justice.  I will send the real MP3 if anyone would like.

I suppose the moving ice plays its part in the honing back of the soft cliffs, Mary?

It looks pretty chilly out there..
This would be new for me to see, Mary. I think I'd just stare at it for a long time.....!

Très jolie vue.
Living inland I would never see anything like this although it would have to be even colder than we've had this year before we got frozen sea.

What a wonderful sight here, Mary. That water must be very cold to have these "icebergs". Love this view.

Not enough to worry the Titanic this time. A shame it was not like that 106 years ago!
I miss the icebergs, never seen a live, not even the remains.

You have to watch out for these ice bergs. Apparently they are big enough under water to sink the Titanic.
