I hope this didn't float away as the tide went out, it hasn't been moored to anything by the look of it.
Was someone nearby? Is your red soil sticky when wet? Like our clay?
Mary MacADNski: This was in front of someone's cottage. We are basically a sand dune so our soil is more sand than clay but we do have some clay deposits. I know of one that would swallow you.
