Blackened Cat, Whitened Blossoms

I did not keep a coloured version of this for comparison.

Needs a cropping. Another time, eh.

Extreme B/w, Mary... Ian Anderson, I've been to his parents house, saw all Jethro Tulls gold discs...smile
Mary MacADNski: He was certainly played a lot in my house back in the day - also by my then husband, who adored him.
I don't know that the cropping is necessary - I like the photo! Very nice song for a Monday!
Mary MacADNski: You are too kind but I always look to do more with it so stark.

Her eyes make it a fine image
Mary MacADNski: That is it for me - the reason for a possible crop - to bring the eyes at a better place.

She looks as if she is saying "can't reach me!"
Mary MacADNski: She is posing there. The cats were wonderful that day.
Works fine as it is Mary.

Ian Anderson is still going strong as far as I know.
Mary MacADNski: I was very accustomed to flute playing music while married to a musician back in the 70's. He adored Ian Anderson.

Just like a cat on a hot tin roof ...

Not really smile
Mary MacADNski: On a lovely day out with Mama!
Your processing lifts this to another level, Mary. Love the contrast and the staring eyes.
Mary MacADNski: It is always one button black and white conversion unless otherwise stated. I file by my actions. If it is greyscale, it says so.

fantastic result of this beauty in it's tree
Mary MacADNski: I liked the starkness but was surprised by it.
Gotta love it just as it is, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Ginnie.
The B&W version will certainly serve!
Mary MacADNski: Has to for today.

She has a fine vantage point. I expect she has a bird in sight.. but hopefully not in reach.
Mary MacADNski: She was just happy to be with me that day after not seeing me or being outdoors in a while .
Sweet kitty...
Mary MacADNski: Ruby Dooby Doo.
