I am only assuming yesterday's shot was of a female cardinal. I don't really know for sure.

an intriguing comparison

in the first image they look like vultures

in the second image they remind me of a Dr. Seuss book

Looks like a good gathering point for the birds; are they shags or cormorants?

The second shot looks like it could be a scene from another planet (assuming that they had air and water of course).
Mary MacADNski: The cormorants found a spot above the cliffs that looks well used.

It is fun to play around with these programs.

Great picture of them all near the edge overlooking the sea.
