Fall Colours

The artist featured in the link at the very end is a friend of mine, Gerald Beaulieu. I've shown some of his work here over the ages.

He is a long-time contributor to Art in the Open, a half day Arts Festival where parks and other outdoor spaces are transformed with large art pieces, performances, interactive art and all sorts every wonderful thing in between.  I go most years and always take part in The Crow March, an intregal performance in the event. Gerald and I attended together the one year he did not have a piece in event.

This year Gerald made two giant crows out of old tires and the Confederation of the Arts gallery has borrowed it for a year to live outdoors through the seasons. Everyone who has seen it there loves it.

Magnifiques couleurs éclatantes.
Flowers in B&W is unique and works here!!
The detail in the B&W is fabulous, Mary, but so is the color in the color version.

Those crows are amazing, even to the realistic eye. I love your flower pictures, too

Amazing artwork, Mary. Love it and a great title too. As always I love your B&W and coloured pictures, they are so different and both with their own identity...
It's amazing how much detail shows through in B&W. So crisp & clean looking.

The black and white wins out for me this week Mary.

The crow is amazing.
I like both versions of this image, and as for the crow by your friend, how unusual and definitely very arty.
