Cleaning up the Unassigned pile with this date appropriate image. I made this shot in Florida a year ago today I was to take care of a relative for a three week period. The man in the foreground was walking the Boston Terrier, my other charge for the period. I walked the dog two miles around a lake twice a day - at sunrise and at sunset. Not a bad job. I loved these long shadows in the evenings.

The evening light is fabulous. Not enough hills in Florida for my liking, though!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, it was flat and only two miles each trip but the lake was wonderful and there where tons of whooping cranes. It was warm too and away from winter.
