Mary MacADNski: I am glad you do. Thank you.
I love the sheen on the beach and the twinkle on the water!
Frank gave me that link last week - pretty fun!!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Elizabeth. I love cre8ivity and this really hits the spot.

I like this a lot! Well done
Mary MacADNski: I am new to B/W conversion. My last camera allowed me to do it in camera.
Thank you for the great fun Mary! I love your picture.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard, on both counts.

The sand looks like the "quick" variety, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Not at all though I have experienced that.
It is definitely a Black Monday beach, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It is. Our beaches are cold today so this symbolizes reality quite well.

Just the imprint of wild creatures, Mary
Mary MacADNski: Probably a few mussels, snails and such and the marks of the tide.

Great POV and love the sun on the waves. Great picture.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. These conversions are hit and miss as to whether one is good or not.
Cracking picture and the website is very clever
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bill, on both counts.
good darkness
Mary MacADNski: These conversions are hit and miss as to whether one is good or not. I have no idea how to fix the bad ones really so just try to take the good ones. This one fit the bill.

a magic light! I love the beach left by the flood! Sometimes you can find some interesting things.
Mary MacADNski: Tides change twice a day so things are moved around and refreshed constantly.

Sand drying in the sun whilst gentle waves lap on the shore. Excellent BnW.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks. This one worked out well.

Excellent. If it was not for that right-hand top corner, it would have gone right into my 'likey' bin.

Lovely stick story. Have forwarded to the mothers of my grandchildren.
Mary MacADNski: My favorite part of the shot is that corner. My monitor does not do the black end of the scale that well so I imagine it shows more in the black area that I can see. If not, I like the surprise of it. It could easily be cropped to remove it though if that is the preference

A beautiful light on the sands especially.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, strong sunlight.
This is luscious Astrid, I think that the colour is also subtly delightful.
Mary MacADNski: I think there is no colour at all as I pressed the button that makes black and white photos out of coloured shots.
I have done it again Mary and called you Astrid - Just picture that!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, just picture that!
Reminds me of sculpture for some obscure reason...
Mary MacADNski: Perhaps that is because sculptures are naturally derived from the soil.
appealing glitter here
Mary MacADNski: A different aperture could have enhanced that effect too.

What a wonderful link smile

Great picture too!
Mary MacADNski: I loved that link. It satisfied an itch.
Beautiful light on the sands isn't it.
Mary MacADNski: Lots of direct sunshine!
