A ne toucher qu'avec les yeux. Je le préfère en couleur.
Mary MacADNski: The colour seems most popular.

I like the B&W but love the color. It looks like it belongs on the moon!
Mary MacADNski: Alas, they're only found on earth. The colour version is definitely most popular.
Aren't mushrooms just wonderful! Lovely capture of this one - I can't decide which I like better on this one.
I've been enjoying the Waifs!
Mary MacADNski: I am glad you like the Waifs. They are not as active as they once were due to the band members living on different continents.

B&W is good, but colour version is gooder.
Mary MacADNski: I think the colour is most popular.
The B&W version actually looks metallic, Mary. Good to see both versions, then.
Mary MacADNski: I like the black and white metallic too.

Our version of these is red
Mary MacADNski: Mostly we have deep orange but this pale version is seen now and then.

It looks phenomenal when you study it.
Mary MacADNski: Mushrooms are magical when you study them, especially the under side.
The mono mushroom works well Mary
Mary MacADNski: I do like it a lot myself though others seem to prefer the colour.
I lkke the mono version but being a natural history subject it works better in colour.
Mary MacADNski: Sometimes in painting I make a copy of my photo or sketch in black and white to study it further for tones.

You scared off the dwarf, looks like.
Mary MacADNski: I am not sure what you mean.

The mushroom looks like the Pacific Sea settled with lots of islands.
Mary MacADNski: I like your imagination.

..and a good job she does of it, too. No idea if this edible or not so staying well back from it smile
Mary MacADNski: That is a very good idea, Alan. If you're not sure, leave it to spore.

Both are wonderful. I love this time of the year.
Mary MacADNski: We are still in summer mode here for some odd reason but coldness will come soon enough.

I grew up with pictures in books with dwarves sitting on a fungus head like this. Now there is no dwarf ...
Mary MacADNski: The elves have taken over.
