Mary you have made my day, I love this. The colours, the texture of the vine, finally all that glorious snow.
Mary MacADNski: Glad snow can make someone's day . Actually I know that the skiers are in heaven too.
This looks wonderful. Here it is so hot that we are running the AC.
Mary MacADNski: Can i come for the weekend?
I love the combination of textures.
Mary MacADNski: Lots of texture here, for sure...even down to the footprints.
Lovely capture
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, S and S. How would your models like to run around in this?
A joy for the eye again Mary, I woke up just 15 minutes ago and guess what Jack Frost has arrived, I love snow and this little house with the vine is supurb, I'll joun in with hot coco is that alright
Mary MacADNski: Do you mean you have snow this morning or just frost. So you are coming too? We are going to have a full house. M'Roy, Roland, Aps and Tim and his kids will be coming too. Bring warm clothes. We are having a blizzard this afternoon with 80 km. winds. My daughter is coming home too! I'm excited.
Every year I hope for snow here in South Wales - not just a flurry but a good covering. Every year I am disappointed! The last time we had a good fall of snow locally was 1984. I was away from home and couldn't get home for nearly a week as the roads were all blocked. Anyway, seeing your picture and all this lovely snow brings it all back!! One final thought - is there anything better than waking up to a fresh fall of snow with perhaps just a few bird (or cat) foot prints in it? Mike
Mary MacADNski: I would prefer snow to constant rain which I suppose you get. If we didn't have to shovel or drive and could just play all day, it would be wonderful. But we have to work, thus shovel and drive so it is a pain. I have lots of bird tracks and cat tracks and next week I'm going to show some frozen tracks in the ice. I already have the rest of this week uploaded. For a sneak preview, go here:

Appropriate picture for this before Christmas season... I feel like a child...
Mary MacADNski: This is delightful weather for children. I have happy childhood memories of playing in the snow and my kids do too.
super image, looks wonderful can i bring the kids over
Mary MacADNski: We are going to have a full house. M'Roy, Astrid, Aps and Roland will be coming too. Bring warm clothes. We are having a blizzard this afternoon with 80 km. winds. The kids would love it.
I come at once Mary. It's very very beautiful.. I've not seen such a snow-covered landscape since I was 8-10 YO.
Mary MacADNski: We are going to have a full house. M'Roy, Astrid, Aps and Tim and his kids will be coming too. Bring warm clothes. We are having a blizzard this afternoon with 80 km. winds.
I want to go skiing NOW!
Nice one Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I think you could ski from this house. My friend lives here, high on a hill with a beautiful view to the west and gets magnificent sunsets.
Looks like some modern day Igloo ..Nice capture
Mary MacADNski: I love that, Shakara, a modern day igloo. You're very imaginative.
Very beautyful and appealing Mary. I like the textures contrasts
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. There certainly are some textures. Even the footprints add to the texture.
Beautiful picture Mary! I love the snow and blue sky
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Michelle. I was glad to see blue sky too. It had been weeks.
Oh Mary, what a photograph! I realise that this snow may be a pain in the neck for you, but it is a joy to see. Beautiful light and I love the texture of the vine. First photograph I have looked at this morning, and I feel completely invigorated! Thank you! (:o)
Mary MacADNski: Glad to invigorate you. For true invigoration, stand outside in it for a few minutes. LOL
HELLO! We knew it would come to/for you...and that you'd then bring it to us! Aren't we the lucky ones today!!!
Mary MacADNski: We've had snow now since the first of the month. Last year we had hardly any. If anything, it is pretty.
A great capture and thank you for showing the snow delights.
Mary MacADNski: It will probably happen again this winter a few times. LOL I'm sure I can oblige.
crikey. Hectic! I have never been in snow in my life yet (sadly)...that is awesome. Looks like so much fun! The vine texture works so well. Nice one
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Liam. You will have to see snow sometime. Good thing it comes every year. You will get a chance over and over.
Brilliant!
Not a common sight here, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: LOL at that. Not a common site at all. It would create instant steam in Thailand.
Oh Mary I love snow pictures.. What a beautiful time of the year..This is gorgeous.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Gale from Cape of storms. We are going to have 80 km winds this afternoon and all night so we are the island of storms these days.
Santa's garden shed?.. Beautiful scene and image Mary. mal
Mary MacADNski: LOL Garden shed, indeed. Reindeer can rub up against it to scratch themselves too. Thanks, Mal
WOW! WOW! I love this! Thanks for show, Mary! The snow desires to see so much to me that for me, this photo is a LIKEY.
Mary MacADNski: A celebration is in order. I've been chosen a likey. Thank you very much.
Una celebración está en orden. Me han elegido un likey. Gracias mucho
I love this photo! The colors are gorgeous!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Helen. My friend's house is the same colour as the sky this day. Cool, eh?
So that's what snow looks like
Mary MacADNski: It looks like that on a calm, sunny day. Very pretty then. Tonight and tomorrow when it's being blown about by 80 km winds, it won't be so picturesque.
A little house with hair !!! Very nice and funny composition ...
Mary MacADNski: That's funny, Ann.
This looks very pretty and picturesque - and brrrrrr cold
Mary MacADNski: 'Tis the season; cold and snowy but pretty on certain days.
It does look so nice, and very clever to paint the house the same colour as the sky.
But, umm, it looks cold, brrr
Mary MacADNski: I know. Their paint colour totally does match the sky.
Beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Kay. I guess you're not getting weather like this.
Oh boy that makes our -2c seem pathetic.
Must say it looks very pretty
Mary MacADNski: Yes, very pretty. We are in for more and today and overnight had 8o kn winds. Winter has come early.
Hmmm
Mary MacADNski: Glad to bring back some good memories.
Wow...idyllic!!
Mary MacADNski: Pretty isn't it. At a friend's house after a big snow.
