they have got the right idea Mary, nice capture
Mary MacADNski: A lovely summer day sounds very nice right now.
Such a contrast to the winters captures of late, looks heavenly
Mary MacADNski: We'll be back to winter birds in a day or two.
Shags are fine critters..they look good on the big floating vegetable gnocci, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Some would not agree. Fish farmers would pay you to take them.
nice one. These birds are amazing up close. Such great plumage.
Cheers Rob
Mary MacADNski: I have a nice close up of one.
Anywhere for a break from the water. Well seen Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Cormorants find anyplace they can to sit a spell. Groups of buoys are often chosen as larger numbers can congregate.
I like this Mary, I'm not a bird expert, are they Cormorants?
Sorry Mary, I missed the title, I've just surfaced from my post Sunday lumch snooze and am not quite with it
Mary MacADNski: I worked a night shift Sat. night and was not with it Sunday either - even forgot to post a shot.
Anything that floats is good for a cormorant perch on it.

a really nice shot, Mary! It took me a minute to figure out what they were sitting on. At first I thought they were dead fish! hah

Straight back into summer, and I still wanted to visit PEI for a good snow storm!
Mary MacADNski: A couple of summer bird shots then back to winter birds. It's certainly pretty out there. A couple of cm. overnight that is sticking to the trees and everything is pure white again.
HA! She's gone to the birds. Not that I blame you, Mary.

So nice to have some summer tones! Fine capture Mary.
Mary MacADNski: One more summer bird, then back to winter.
The buoys provide a good vantage point for the birds. Judging by the marks on them, they get well-used, too!
