Free to Be
I've talked about these horses only through comments and thought I should explain them on the blog.
I've been hiking every Monday and see these horses each week at that time.  They are rescued horses, at one time 'bound for the glue factory'.  The rescuers place the horses in more than one location and the area of my hiking is one.  They always come to the fence to see us and seem friendly though I'm only guessing as I know nothing about horses.
