Pretty, but smug, flowers! I can walk! I can run! Can you daffy's do that? Huh?
Love the rust-ware, Mary, and the rust-coloured rocks.
Mary MacADNski: I have lots of neat rust things in my gardens, Ray. One garden has about a dozen old rusty circles. They're my favorite. I would like to put that big circle you can see and her sister in that garden but they won't fit.
Beautiful flowers. They do make lovely models.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Michael. They don't charge a lot either.
Great composition Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Vintage
I'm guessing PEI is only now bursting with spring? You had such a long, cold winter. The daffodils are more than happy right now, I'm sure!
Mary MacADNski: My daffodils started about opening about the 27th of April. This photo was taken a week or so ago. This garden is more exposed and thus a bit later. We have a long spring usually.
All things bright and beautiful springs to mind Mary.. Very cheerful shot
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tracy. Aren't they wonderful?
Lovely daffodils Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Aussie. As pretty as those Chinese tulips.
Great composition!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, lui04.
Nice composition, the daffodils almost frame the picture. And the rustware - must be a great part of your garden with the other stuff. Should go well with the natural PEI colour.
Have you blogged that rust garden before?
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. There may have been parts of rusty items before but I'm not sure. This garden has had it's picture taken though as as the season progresses lots of different flowers bloom.
Beautiful composition Mary. I like the soft tones!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. From your photo today, we have different back yards.
It's interesting to see how far your season is behind us, Mary. Our daffodils finished in southern Engalnd around six weeks or so ago.
Mary MacADNski: I've been watching your spring for that long, jealously.
Are the rusty circles of of wagon wheels ? they are extremely interesting items. The daff's are ok ! don't want to make them all big headed now. :o) John
Mary MacADNski: They are wagon wheels. I'm glad you let the daffodils be.
Fresh ! the yellow spots adds to the light
Mary MacADNski: My son was actually in Paris last week ....while his brother was actually in London. I thought that was kind of cool. Thanks for the comment and for letting me comment on your 'actually in Paris.'
Doesn't your red sandstone set them off beautifully too.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bill. It's all we've got, LOL, unless we import or carry it back from somewhere. I do, being a fossil hunter.
Bet you're glad spring is finally with you. An interesting composition Mary, do you feel the daffys are just a little over-exposed and washed out?
Mary MacADNski: Wait till tommorow's...terribly bright light. Light can be good . It indicates the time of the day.
They look so lovely and bright
Mary MacADNski: Happy, happy and bright. Thanks for coming by Ellie.
Love them...all ours are long gone, and the tulips, crocuses, and bluebells....but the summer flowers are here
Mary MacADNski: The daffs are about gone but the tulips are still with us.
