My Beach On A Cloudy Day
comments (12)
The color of the rock is nice against the sky and water.
Mary MacADNski: A nice sunny day with brilliant blue skies makes it even more gorgeous.
This just confirms to me that I must visit PEI someday.
Mary MacADNski: Come soon before global warming and rising water from the melting icepack has us living under the waves.
what a magnific colours. great picture
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, xavi.
The colour of the rock is fantastic - really nicely captured.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bernie. It was a nice day, cloudy but fine with me.
So what happened to the sand,
Suby
Mary MacADNski: The big sandy PEI beaches are on the north shore. I live on the south shore. There is sand in the foreground here but this side doesn't have the big sandy beaches. I'm a rockhound so much prefer these beaches.
Beautiful! With or without sunshine.
Mary MacADNski: I agree for when I'm ther I am looking at the rocks.
This reminds me of our red Georgia clay, Mary, as I've told you before. But it also reminds me of the red rocks outside of Denver, Colorado! The color is so rich!
Mary MacADNski: The hour before sunset it's really lovely. This shot was mid afternoon. Here's one from back in the archives that shows the colour at that time.

Beautiful beach and that is one of my favorite songs. Nice job on the colors in this one.
Mary MacADNski: So glad you like the music....
Looks good, the stone is a great colour.
Mary MacADNski: The colour is really great. You should see it in the time before sunset!
Absolutely beautiful to look at, and super detail as well
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ellie. I've been so busy I haven't been there in two weeks.
A great composition and I love the red tones too !
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Zebigleb.
Is this the other beach then? Lucky you!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, this is the beach where I live. The other is at the other end of the province.
