Death can be beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: This was a dog an old family pet of my friend's from decades ago.
Very nice shot! I was out in the desert and saw some bones. It was fascinating.
Mary MacADNski: Usually they're quite weathered and bleached in the desert.
Wow is this a warning.. amazing photo Mary.
Mary MacADNski: A surprise to come across.
Amazing never saw this in real life (yet) you captured this very well.
Mary MacADNski: It certainly surprised me to come across this.
Them bones, them bones ...
This reminds me of one of the moment in a cowboy movie where the poor unsuspecting pilgrim stumbles into the wild bloodthirsty apache's burial grounds.
Mary MacADNski: That's it exactly!!
Well presented Mary, very interesting subject. My husbands Uncle was an archaeologist. He was always digging bones and such like up
Mary MacADNski: It was surprising to come across this. It spooked me!
well that makes you sit up Mary, superb image, bit chilling
Mary MacADNski: It startled me when I came across it, I can tell you!
I think the poor old sheep is having an off day. Nicely captured, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: He's actually my friend's childhood dog.
Very nicely captured Mary. Well done
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard.
Ah the poor old dear
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, David.
Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio!
I rather like the Iron & wine song
Mary MacADNski: I like it too but love the Waifs song. I'm a huge fan.
Impressive shot and great management of lights! Bravo !
Mary MacADNski: Glad it didn't scare you.
I am thinking it was hung on the branch because animals don't usually die like that. Also: a predator would not be hanging it like that. But it is a super effective photo.
Mary MacADNski: My friend had gone for a walk in the woods behind the house where she grew up. She knew this was the skeleton of one of the dogs they had as children. It had been buried there 40 years before. She probably hung it like that.
