Superb colours, Mary the seaweed really adds to the composition.
I have seen the same red colour here in China. I am just filling in some time waiting for breakfast before moving on and if I can't be taking photo's my next best option is to look at Sc's.
Mary MacADNski: These colours happen in quite a few places in the world. Are you having a great time? A trip of a lifetime, I'd imagine!
It could be details of a necklace.
Wonderful tones and textures !
Mary MacADNski: You see like an artist. That's evident from your work too.
Everything works well together, the colours and the textures.
Mary MacADNski: Someone planned it all so well.
You find lovely things on your walk.
Mary MacADNski: I could write a book about this magic beach. I found a very rare and important fossil here that is housed at our national museum. That's the beginning.
you have to love rocky beaches. This is cool.
Mary MacADNski: I do like rocky beaches. A lot of people want sand but every grain is the same. Not like rocks....
Cool reds, nice lines. It's rather random looking, which I like.
Mary MacADNski: Random for sure, as there are millions to choose from.
nice collage of textures
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, DrAW. It's a pleasure to go to the beach.
Lovely colours and textures Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bill. Simple is the word today.
Beautiful capture Mary. I like the textures and the colours!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. My pleasure to bring you shots from a beach.
The seaweed looks like ribbons Mary. Lovely composition and the colours are great
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tracy. I'm enjoying your Italy trip. I have 2 friends there now.
The texture in the rock is nice.
I have been a bad visitor last week, due to pneumonia... sorry... hope this week will be better and I come by more often...
Mary MacADNski: Do what it takes to get wee. We'll always be here.
I like the different textures and the colours...a very nice close up.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much. The beach is filled with such a variety of colours and textures.
The different colors and textures do make this an excellent picture, if this was a close-up, it could be a necklace...very well spotted, you had fun on this beach, going hunting for these shots...
Mary MacADNski: This is like walking to the post office for me - part of my neighborhood but I'm the only one who goes. Everyone else prefers the sandy beaches. In summer I go several times a day for a quick dip that cools you off wonderfully.
The seaweed here reminds me discarded audio tape from the old tapes cassettes (remember those?). I like the hole in the rock!
Mary MacADNski: Those tapes would go forever along the roadsides. I asked once why that was and someone said, "The tape would stop working and get thrown out." My brain did not work that way.
well framed, subtle colours. nice one.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Jamoula.
