Waiting
I never get tired of my neighbourhood beach or of looking at photos of it. The road is thigh deep in snow at the moment so I won't be able to get down till spring.

Hello Mary, how you been? Sorry bout our tardiness in visiting, just been crazily busy.
Anyway glad to see you still blogging
Mary MacADNski: Using file photos as I've had an injury making it impossible to use a camera. Maybe by April or May....
Glad to see you're back.
What a beautiful sight.
Mary MacADNski: It is a really beautiful site at this time of day when the colours become so rich!
love the reds of the earth
Mary MacADNski: The colours are truly beautiful at this time of day nearing sundown.
Thigh-deep in snow! WOW. That's a lot of snow, Mary! When it all melts, you'll have puddles of water like this everywhere, I'm sure, if not a river.
I agree with you: I never get tired of your neighborhood either!
Mary MacADNski: Same amount as that link I sent you with the robin on the driftwood. During the thaw we had a couple of weeks ago there was no run-off at all. All of the water was obsorbed as we'd had dry weather previously. We needed this snowfilled winter. We are going to have thawing and warm temps again this week.
Nice colors and reflection Mary...
Mary MacADNski: It's a lovely time of day.
Beautiful colours and reflections !!! Well done !!!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ann. The colour is great at this time of day.
Superb colour
Mary MacADNski: This is nearing sundown. The red cliffs come alive with colour at this time.
The red cliff is lit up superbly, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: and isn't it grand!!!
Lovely colour Mary. Great shot ... while you are waiting
Mary MacADNski: Waiting impatiently I'm sorry to say.
Excellent - like the composition and the view. Thanks for the birch reference.
Thigh deep snow. Not that I know what that would be like.
Mary MacADNski: Here's a view from last year though it wasn't that deep. I was able to get down.

Very nice shot Mary. The red of the earth reminds me of Madagascar
Mary MacADNski: There are many places with this red soil it seems. I will add Madagascar to the list.
This is so full of colour Mary, you just carn't visualise it with thigh high snow.
Beautiful to say the least
Mary MacADNski: Here is a view with snow, though it isn't as deep as this year. I was able to get down.

I like the color reflected by the red clay. The dusk favors that view!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, that is the best time to get that deep colour. I love it then.
Sí, ésa es la mejor época de conseguir ese color profundo. Entonces la amo.
Mary, this is a stunning capture again, the colors are great here, nice job love the way the reflection is in the water.
Mary MacADNski: It's such a great beach because no one ever goes there and it is minutes from my home.
It is all to easy to see why you would never tire of this. Roll on the spring for you and getting out with the camera again
Mary MacADNski: Yes, hurry up spring.
I can see why you miss being able to get down to this spot. It is beautiful . Love the bands of colour in this one. How is your recovery going, by the way? (:o)
Mary MacADNski: I'm able to do light physio but am in more pain since then.
A beautiful shot Mary, I really love contrasting colours and the reflections in the water.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Michelle. It's a great shot.
Wow, that's stunning scenery, I'm not at all surprised you never tire of it.
Mary MacADNski: I'm a rock hound and have found a very important fossil on this beach that is in our national museum. I am always searching for more.
Aren't beaches funny, they're so different the world over.
Mary MacADNski: On this Island south shore beaches are completely different from each other and me western beach is different again. I love them all!
I'm playing catch up, yesterday was hectic. Beautiful colours and reflection Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Yesterday was hectic for me too and I'm playing catch up too. It's a freezing rain storm day so I won't be going anywhere.
