Isn't that just wonderful?! We love these colours. Great shot, Mary. Ginnie and I are in Blue Ridge Mountains Ga. Enjoying these colours too.
Mary MacADNski: We've had wind since the full moon so a lot of leaves have dropped.

Your trees there may be a week ahead of the ones here in the GA mountains, Mary, but they're wonderful, aren't they!
Mary MacADNski: It is strange how it happens New England is first then us then the center of the continent. It is gorgeous anywhere when it happens.
I agree Mary... perfect title for the reds... greens... and gold of Autumn....petersmile

Yes, splendorousness and autumnal glory - a beautiful seasonal photo - in the last days the colours have become more intense.
Mary MacADNski: We have reached our peak. Wind since the full moon has dropped quite a few of the leaves.
What perfection, Mary. The colours are so vivid.
Mary MacADNski: I tried to get a lot of colours in this one shot.

Mary MacADNski: Any time! Seriously.
I like....
Mary MacADNski: I am glad you do. Nice in person too with the autumn odours.
The yellow-orange and deep crimson colours couldn't be more vibrant, Mary. Love that bit of green in the middle. Splendorous, indeed!
Mary MacADNski: I tried to get a bit of every colour in one shot.

Oh yes, very colourful. I was amazed to see the difference in the trees in Oregon in the two weeks I was down in New Mexico. Signs of autumn are in the UK now; let's home the gales don't blow them all off!
Mary MacADNski: It happens fast. I heard that warm days and cool nights hurry them along and that is what we have had.
lovely display of complementary colors here
Mary MacADNski: I tried to get a bit of every colour in one shot.
You really do get some fine collections of autumn colours over there.
Mary MacADNski: I am not sure why that is except that we have different trees. Maples are the most colourful. Do you have maples?
