They are just as beautiful from the back Mary... wonderful macros....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Morning light and dew...
They are gorgeous - as are your wonderful photos! Our Chicory tend to be even more lavender colored.
Mary MacADNski: These are lavender but when wet just look lighter from the concentration of light.

Beautiful aren't they with that moisture on them
Mary MacADNski: Our first rain in a long time.
They are very pretty enhanced by the water droplets and the lovely light
Mary MacADNski: It was lovely early morning light. My favorite morning shoot this fall.

silvery glittering - wonderful plants - I know only the vegetables.
Mary MacADNski: Chicory flowers in our landscape are beautiful. I believe (but am not sure) that the roots are used for a coffee replacement. I have drank it that way and was not satisfied as it does not have caffeine.
Wonderfully captured with the dew Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It was a gorgeous outing.
They do look stunning with the dew on them Mary. Beautiful captures
Mary MacADNski: The morning dew and the gorgeous autumn light are responsible.
Lovely image of lovely flowers - those at the top look to be made of tinsel!
Mary MacADNski: It was so, so bright.

beautiful!
Mary MacADNski: Your comment is much appreciated, nan.
These are pretty flowers, I don't think I've seen them before.
Mary MacADNski: I assumed chicory was a common plant there,

Oh yes! I can certainly see why; i like the dew-covered petals and the beautiful light.
Mary MacADNski: They are spots of light purple in the larger landscape. I have a couple of patches across my pond that I love for their appearance in autumn

Love the soft background and the dewy petals.
Mary MacADNski: This might have been called called Wet.

Gems of the first order!
Mary MacADNski: I have realized since that I absolutely know this is a wild aster and not a chicory, which I have in my garden from time to time, depending on the lettuce mix.
