Either or Both

Images from the small world are lined up for the next week or so.

This is deliberately out of focus, in case you wondered.

I really like the colour version Mary, a fine abstract.
Sur la photo en noir et blanc, on dirait des plumes.
It makes a lovely abstract, Mary - I have to disagree with my dear husband... I much prefer the B&W - I think the deliberate blur looks very artsy!
Nice Phoebe track!
I LOVE the B&W, Mary, but what the color version does is give a totally different interpretation, like a smoldering volcano!

Sometimes it does not matter if it is out of focus. It gives that "magic", Mary. I like the coloured one, it looks like the inside of a volcano....
I like both but if I had to choose I would go for the colour

Like an explosion.
A purist would want it to be in focus, I think it works well as it is, especially the B.& W. version.
Mary MacADNski: I have several shots of it in focus.

The b&w and it is like something out of Swan Lake.
The B&W looks soft & fluffy, Mary. The coloured one looks to be on fire.

I think the colour version in particular could be an idea of what the entrance to Hell looks like.
i imagine at f2.8, something or the other would be out of focus. but to my eyes this is an effective shot, i like both the formats, maybe the colour one slightly more.
good macro Mary... right into the heart of this flower....petersmile

wow, the greyscale to me is stunningly dreamy
This is amazing art!
Mary MacADNski: I played around with it for quite a while and got many results.
