Water Ways

I showed you photos of this waterway in the past. It is a stream that runs past a playground my grandchildren frequent.

Lovely patterns, fishes and music!
Mary MacADNski: It is such a lovely shady spot beside a sun-filled playground. One of Stan's best songs.

Love the ripple effect
Mary MacADNski: The water strider hopped just in time.
Is that a deer hoof-print in the first image, Mary? Lovely.
Mary MacADNski: What you are seeing is the shadow made by a water strider. The insect is in the top left corner.

I always look into water if we are close enough. I love to see if there are any fish or other moving things. I so like your pictures. The sun/shadow on those fish is wonderful!
Mary MacADNski: I took LOTS and LOTS of photos that day. I would love an underwater camera.
Nice shots and one of my favourite Stan Rogers songs
Mary MacADNski: One of my favorites of his songs too.

The patterns in water are always fascinating.
Mary MacADNski: They are to me too. I took plenty of shots.
What lovely clear water and a creature to go with it.
Mary MacADNski: Creatures are a great addition.
I missed seeing the water strider, Mary. Both images have a very peaceful feeling to them. Lovely.
Mary MacADNski: I was lucky to capture it as it was at another spot in my frame and jumped.
Love the pattern of the ripples! Both great shots Mary smile
