Meandering Home

I did not like this shot and was ready to delete it.

I converted it to black and white and like it quite a lot.

Hmmmmm...nice shapes of grey, Mary... smile
Isn't it amazing what playing around with processing can do. I've done that - and the reverse, taken a photo I thought I liked - and completely messed it up! smile
A nice performance by the Guthro's - a touching song!

The black and while is indeed better than the original, Mary... Just keep it smile

You are right Mary, the top image appears quite magical and is a joy. Then all that is lost in the lower example.
The B&W is my preference, I like the softness of the water smile
I've got to be honest and say that as a colur shot it does nothing for me but converted to mono, what a difference.

B&w is often the saving factor for 'not so good' pictures.
Mary MacADNski: I find people do that when the focus make it bad.. The focus is still bad in B?W
It has a dreamy look to it in B&W
