You could imagine they are two mermaids, Mary
Mary MacADNski: They may be. Some people swim a lot for exercise. We have such great warm water that swimmers from anywhere vacationing are delighted.

Make the best of it!
Mary MacADNski: You said it! We have very warm water but the season is short.
I sure hope it's cleaner than Rio's waters, Mary!!!

Fell in...or, just cooling off?
Mary MacADNski: People enjoy the water in many ways on the boat run. My daugher and a friend were in the water for a couple of hours. I asked them to get out thinking we would be carrying home prunes. This is not them.
i imagine they had a fun time, Mary, making the most of the summer
Mary MacADNski: The Poker Run is a great time for water lovers of all kinds. No one would ever drown as there are so many people watching and taking part.
That looks very inviting Mary
Mary MacADNski: Water on PEI is very warm from the action of the Gulf Stream. It gives you a warm winter and gives us warmer water than anywhere else on the coast in summer.

I love this picture...this looks great to do...swimming in the lake/river...
Love the lines...
Mary MacADNski: This is during the annual Poker Run where we are somewhere in the water around the Murray Islands.
I expect the water there is rather cold Mary, unlike the warm sea water of Crete where I am at the moment.
Mary MacADNski: Water on PEI is very warm from the action of the Gulf Stream. It gives England a warm winter and gives us warmer water than anywhere else on the east coast of North America in summer.
I guess the water must be warm enough!
Mary MacADNski: It is very warm. I was in about a half hour but my daughter was in for hours.

It definitely is summer.
Mary MacADNski: It has been a hot summer with no rain for my community. It skirted all around us. The whole island is now in a drought but we have rain today, not a lot but more is expected on Saturday night. Tonight though I will water my garden with collected water from the bit we got today.
Nothing like a good dip!
Mary MacADNski: So refreshing!
