I think I have mentioned the 'Seventy Mile Yardsale' that takes place in my area in late September. It was given that name by the first organizers and it stuck but the yardsale covers hundreds of miles.
It is full of treasures and I come home with something awesome every year. This year one of my favorite items was an antique wedding dress. The seller had owned a bridal shop and had sold it and retired but was selling her own collection of antique wedding dresses for $10.00 each. A steal in my opinion. My sister and sister-in-law who came from New Brunswick for the event begged me to try it on. I thought it was too small but wouldn't you know, the darned thing fit perfectly. Other than the dress, I am not in any way ready.
