Excellent...especially with your rocky fringe...Mary.
Mary MacADNski: They're imported rocks of course. We don't do grey on the red island.
i like the shimmering reflections in white, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I like that part too. Thanks.
Very nice - I like having that rocky foreground!
Mary MacADNski: As I told Ray, these rocks are imported. We have only sandstone. Our red island does not do grey.

Make the best of it before the days get shorter
Mary MacADNski: It has been cooling off since Sunday. Boo hoo. Summer does not last forever though it tried this year,

I like the composition here with the rocks in the foreground. I never get any landscape photos that I'm happy with during times of high pressure because of the haze; I much prefer low pressure.
Mary MacADNski: Sometimes the haze can tell a story.
We are having a sudden burst of warm weather here!
Mary MacADNski: With us, fall is beginning to rear it's pretty head.

On your marks ...
Mary MacADNski: I thin I know which will win - the one that has it's motor running.
I like the pop of the Canadian Flag while the boats are at rest.
Mary MacADNski: I love how our flag stands out.
I like the way the little bits of bright color are spaced in the composition...
Mary MacADNski: Makes you look across the picture, I think.
i love these boats and you have framed them very well with the reflections through the ripples Mary....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Boats are always great subjects. Thanks, peter.
Nice collection of boats there.
Mary MacADNski: All typical lobster fishing boats and cleaned up after the season.
