Care MacADNski: Yes, they were fed to bring them near - and I had a long lens on the camera.
out for quackers and cheese.
Care MacADNski: I see them every day and in winter dark coloured cats are easy pickings.

The eagles will be back...
Care MacADNski: I see them every day. I did raise ducks here and lost some to eagles.

They are pretty hefty birds for even an eagle to take

Sounds as though the Eagles don't go hungry round your way Mary. It must be great to see Eagles flying about even if they are predators.

Oh,the bad eagles to lower the lovely, snowwhite ducks!
Care MacADNski: These ducks grow to be very large and live on insects. They are wonderful ducks for gardeners.

we have a few eagles around the lake Mary... people with small dogs worry about them....petersmile
Care MacADNski: They get small dogs and many cats around here. My cats are too heavy for them. smile
they are beautiful ducks....petersmile
Care MacADNski: They get larger their sercond year - very large, and eat mosquitoes and insects all summer.
