Spring Yellow

In today's cleaning of the unassigned bin, I pulled out two with something in common, forsythia.

this is outstanding and one of your best...
Mary MacADNski: Much appreciated comment, Larry.
Er... two of your best...
Mary MacADNski: Extra appreciated.
Nice catch of the Heron, Mary, and your Forsythia looks Bonsai like.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Frank. The forsythia is placed in a frog to make that look.

Wow! Love how the yellows pop.
Mary MacADNski: Best part of spring.
This is excellent!
Mary MacADNski: The wonderfulness of spring on display.
Both are gorgeous images, Mary - the top is just stunning.... what a perfectly framed image of the Heron!!
Mary MacADNski: I have to sneak up and stay down. smile
J'aime beaucoup la composition de la première photo avec le reflet du héron. La plante est aussi très joliment présentée.
Mary MacADNski: Spring is so wonderful!

How good you caught the old heron's shadow, too
Mary MacADNski: I am always glad to capture them.
Forsythia...and herons...are two of my favorite things, Mary. smile
Mary MacADNski: I am so happy to hear that!

These are two fabulous pictures, Mary. That heron and his reflection is just amazing. Here in the Netherlands they are hard to approach. The bottom picture, the simplicity is just amazing.
Mary MacADNski: They are hard to approach too. I had to bend down low and move slowly. I have glass frogs, plastic frogs and wire frogs to help arrange flowers. This is a small wire one.

A lovely delicate image.
Mary MacADNski: Spring is the best time.
Spring will return but first we must have winter
Mary MacADNski: It is good to have both - though we often have them together.

The frogs are holding their breath.
Mary MacADNski: Frogs are in both. The tool holding the flowers is called a wire frog.
One of the best Heron images I've seen, Mary. Excellent!
Mary MacADNski: There are some throughout the years here. They habituate my pond but this is the extreme of my lens.
