photoblog image Snow Day 1

Snow Day 1

I snowfall on the 6th kept me and a visiting friend indoors for the day. Every once in a while I ventured out to shovel the doorway clear and snap a few photos. It was grey all day but the sky started to clear near sunset shown in the last photo of the series.

This does look good, Mary. I wonder if we are in for it later in the month
Mary MacADNski: If you need the moisture I hope you get it in any form. We usually need it.though we had weeks of rain before it turned to snow in early November.
I would LOVE to get enough snow this winter to take photos like that, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: We have had two distinct periods. We had a green Christmas after all with snow in early November.

I wished we had some snow like on your wonderful image. The worlds looks metamorphosed and so quiet and peaceful.
Mary MacADNski: It was a lovely snowfall. We had no wind.
It looks very picturesque Mary, fortunately we haven't had any snow, apart from Scotland, this winter so far.
Mary MacADNski: I like it when it brings us much needed moisture but this year we had a rainy autumn.
So you finally have some snow and have taken a fine picture of it.
Mary MacADNski: This is our second bout. We had lots in Nov. then had a green Christmas. This fell on the 6th.

Lovely picture - we never see such snow!
Mary MacADNski: We normally do, in between periods of ice and rain.
> I like this in b&w. It is right?
Mary MacADNski: Not black and white. Since there was no sun there are no shadows.
Lovely image, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Stay tuned.
