March Madness

I spend a lot of time cleaning this window.

Purrl and Foxy had a bit of a short meeting.  I told the fox to go home and had Purrl come with me. You have to teach them to choose playmates carefully. I love how Purrl is so puffed up that her body looks as big as the fox's.

Wow!

It might have been a good thing you were there as a referee, Mary.
Care MacADNski: I chased one across the field this week. It was barking at Ruby.
Ces chats sont magnifiques. Bon courage pour la fenêtre...
Care MacADNski: I cleaned the window on Friday. You should see it now. Filthy again.

Purrl is looking very aggressive out there defending the homestead
Care MacADNski: It was scary to see but it is becoming an everyday occurrence that Foxy is facing off with the cats and barking. It is the barking that alerts me.
the puffing up technique seems to be well known throughout the animal kingdom, Mary
Care MacADNski: Yes and well practiced by housecats.

I like your narrative about Purrl and Foxy. An interesting contraposition of the two upper photos!
Care MacADNski: Foxy was after Ruby this week. I often take two extremes like this in photos but do not always put them together. Thank you, Philine.
Lesson 1. Avoid foxes no matter how puffed up you can make yourself

Lesson 2 If you have cats don't clean windows
Care MacADNski: The fox is living under a building of the unoccupied farm across from me. They come twice every day. I am not sure if it is one or two foxes. I have not seen two together there since last year.
The window is at the kitchen table so it really has to be cleaned.

A favourites spot for the cats, I should think, in that case. Purrl has her back arched and fur and end to make her look big and threatening.
Care MacADNski: The window has a bench under it and it is where a cat comes to say, "Let me in."
we have a few windows like that here too Mary... it looks like the cat is scaring the fox in these shots....petersmile
Care MacADNski: Just like dog scratches at the door. I was scaring the fox. I had yelled at them by this point.
We had a TV programme some years ago that showed urban foxes, happily sharing back gardens with cats - each leaving the other well alone!
Care MacADNski: The fox barks and barks at the cats so it does not seem friendly to them.
I bet you do clean this window a lot! smile Nice choice to select the focus on one, then the other...

GREAT montage of Purrl and Foxy! You are a good Mom...

I've never heard of either of these - a catchy tune for sure!
Care MacADNski: Hmmmm. I had a response for this earlier, I thought. No idea what I said about the cats smile. The singers are local Maritimers.
