Spring Residents

I stopped along the road to visit this lovely couple

who are working on a new home.

This music is showing people working too.

Nice shot of the couple, and a great track by Rhiannon Giddens....I must look that up.
Mary MacADNski: Love the bass and percussion in this cut.
Ces oies sont très belles.
Mary MacADNski: Lots of ponds have a pair of geese. Mine gets ducks.

Beautiful couple and who knows what the future will be...... a lot of ducklings swimming around. Maybe you can keep us updated??
Mary MacADNski: Their nest is probably set back. Here they were up close to the road but not on a nest.

Building a life together.
Mary MacADNski: A busy life too.
I especially like the lower picture with them both looking in the same direction.
Mary MacADNski: I liked that they didn't swim away.
What is it they say about Nature! Everything we need to know we can learn from Her.
Mary MacADNski: Very strange how different geese and ducks are is one major thin I've learned.
Hope this will be a long lasting relationship, Mary. Lovely couple, indeed.
Mary MacADNski: I do too, as they mate for life.
They are fine looking, if rather noisy, birds Mary
Mary MacADNski: By themselves like this they are not noisy - unless they are threatened.

I'm sure before too long they will be proud parents.
Mary MacADNski: I couldn't see a nest so presumed it was down further out of sight.
Well, they are at home smile
Mary MacADNski: Coming home from vacation was a lot of work.

a fine place for the ducks!
Mary MacADNski: These are Canada geese but ducks would be welcome with them.

smile They probably enjoyed the chat and attention.
Mary MacADNski: They didn't swim away so I was very pleased.
I particularly like the lower picture and how they merge with the water!
Mary MacADNski: I was so pleased they stayed and did not swim away.
Beautiful images of these geese! Frank and I both enjoyed that music - I'm sorry I couldn't comment last night, was having trouble with SC.
Mary MacADNski: Philine reported trouble too. That bass/percussion on that cut is fab!

"My place or yours?"
Mary MacADNski: I drove by Thurs but saw only ducks. They may be further back.
