photoblog image Me and Bees

Me and Bees

I have been away for two weeks caring for my granddaughter who had a tonsilectomy.  I was caring for her mother a year ago for the same reason.

Sprummer sprung overnight and I have been outdoors working in the garden like a busy bee the whole weekend, taking time out only to eat and sleep.

I looked in on the photos every day that I was away but some days did not comment. The weekend, I was outside. :-)

Oh I hope she's OK!

This is a beautiful photo - and the B&W has such wonderful contrast!

It's good to be outside...And glad Srummer sprung for you!

That was unfortunate for both mother and daughter to suffer with their tonsils. So you were as busy as this bee.
Mary MacADNski: They will get no more sore throats now. My daughter suffered her whole adult life.

I like the coloured version here, Mary. It is wonderful to see how the legs of the bee are loaded...
The father of my daughter-in-law keeps bees now for 4 weeks, he took a course to be a bee-keeper. Highly fascinating, he tells us all about it.
Mary MacADNski: We kept bees for years but I sold everything about 15 years ago. My oldest son in Ontario keeps bees now and people are raving about his honey.

Let there be color.
I think the monotone brings out the details so vividly. I hope your grand daughter is well now.
Gotta love them both, Mary, but the B&W was a huge WOW for me before I saw the color version. Hope your g'daughter heals well and quickly!
I prefer to the colour version Mary. We've been away for a week so like you I looked in but didn't comment.
Two beautiful images of this bee who seems to be hugging the flower as well, Mary. It's great when grandma can lend a helping hand when needed. Hope your granddaughter is feeling much better after her tonsilectomy.
Welcome back, Mary smile Colour wins on this one.
Both nice Mary.
it's great that you got to be with your granddaughter for the week even if she was sick...
i love both of your busy bee shots....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: I was away for two weeks but had planned only one week.
