Sand Bars, Clam Bars

After our swim (see yesterday's post),  Gail and I went off rockhounding. Soon enough I needed another swim and looked out.  The sea was quickly becoming sandbars and I had to hurry and walk forever, just to get wet. The seabirds of course, were gathering for dinner.

A lovely, gentle place.
Care MacADNski: Great for swimming that,s for sure. You know that at high tide it is just sand.

I like the bright sparkly water
Care MacADNski: If I could the tiny aperture there could be diamonds.
I have not heard the expression rockhounding
Care MacADNski: Really? It is common here for people who are into rocks.

I like the way you have presented this.
Care MacADNski: I found some play time!ðŸËœ€
Another very fine representation of your beach images Mary, this is how a beach should be.
Care MacADNski: I love this beach except for the approach through fields of long grass which means mosquitoes.

I'm sure that the birds enjoyed their (hopefully) rich pickings.
Care MacADNski: The mosquitoes we stirred up on our way there could have fed a flock of swallows! The birds were very happy.
Lovely sparkling images, Mary.
Care MacADNski: If I could the tiny aperture there could be diamonds.
The shimmering effect is well captured in these images
Care MacADNski: The sandbars became really large that day. It was at full moon time.

I like the delicate colors.
Care MacADNski: Believe it or not this is our south shore, red side, not the northern white side.
