Posing

Kids enjoy being seen by the photographer but I would say most children now grow up seeing at least phone cameras as a normal part of life.

If you remember, a couple of years ago a girl (a stranger to me) asked me to take and mail her pictures of her and a male friend zooming by on their sea doo.

a nice couple of shots, Mary. the youngster seem confident of their swimming abilities. i am intrigued by the long white poles, stretching out of the picture.
Care MacADNski: The long white things are aerials for radio and radar.
Yes - kids seem to always be posing these days...
Love that song...
And the statement in the lower photo.
Care MacADNski: That last one came at the perfect time.

They all look relaxed and happy Mary
Care MacADNski: Pure summer, which was so short this year. I am in mourning.
The addition of the last image really makes a statement on this post, Mary! (sigh)
Care MacADNski: Isn't that the truth!

Alas in these ays of phone cameras, we won't have the rich heritage of printed images for the past that we have enjoyed. The new iPhone makes a big play of its abilities for selfies... ugh!
Care MacADNski: No selfies from this gal.

These are fun shots, Mary. Kids will be kids and you might be right, not everybody has a camera anymore. But then, I love my camera and have a dumb phone and I like to keep it dumb as long as possible....
Care MacADNski: I am the only person still without a cellphone, though I do have an I pad for face timing.
Enjoying life!
Care MacADNski: Yes! Summer memories.
Great way to spend a childhood! Great pictures Mary smile
